“Everyone—at each step of the way—needs to follow well.”

Follwership: Faithful Following in an Age of Confusion
Like every kid shooting hoops who thinks he’ll make it to the NBA, we’ve inundated minds and the marketplace with the goal of leadership for everyone. From first year seminars in university settings to continuing education podcasts for those yearning for advancement, delving into the topic of leadership is only a click away.
We’d be much better off, however, focusing on followership, for we’re all called to follow—even leaders! In all spheres of our lives, following faithfully is key, particularly in this era of fake news and questionable truths, of misogyny and racism. Followership is a life-long task and never a solo affair. With attentiveness to worldview and in companionship with others, discernment shows us who and how to follow faithfully.
Thus, these pages invite readers who are contemplating college or graduate study, those ready to launch after the completion of schooling, and all at any stage of life contemplating the future God is calling them to. A short-read, the book’s nine chapters address topics such as gender, race and ethnicity, the passage into adulthood, the workplace, marriage and family life as well as followership in society and in church as well as the broader Christian community.
